Special features:
A features list is published in January for the coming year and will focus on timely sporting events and turf management issues pertaining to the season.
The features will be as wildly varied as The Cricket World Cup and Drought Tolerant Bent Grass, The Management of an International Stadium alongside The use of Detergent as a Wetting Agent, The Glory of Working at Crewe Alexandra versus EU protocol on storage of fertiliser.
While features will always play a large part in The Groundsman, the strict and regimented rotation of the ‘same old features’ will no longer be an option.
